Honorees must be on active duty, retired, or honorably discharged from any branch of the United States Armed Forces (Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Merchant Marines, or Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP, WW II), or listed as killed/missing in action (deceased individuals may be honored by their families).
  2. Stewartsville honorees must also be a current or former resident of Greenwich Township, or be affiliated with Stewartsville's Mecsey-Bishop Legion Post 456.

BANNER DESIGN, TIME FRAME & LOCATION

Banners will be hung from telephone poles along North and South Main, Greenwich, and Washington Streets.  Space is limited.  Please note we cannot honor requests to hang a banner in a particular location.  Each banner is  24”x 48” heavy vinyl, printed on both sides, and will display the honoree’s photograph, full name, branch of the military, unit/ship, and dates or era of service (WWI, WWII, Vietnam, etc).  Expected life of each banner is two to three years, depending on weather conditions.

Please submit an original photograph or high resolution image of the Hero.  If a photograph is submitted, it will be scanned and returned to you.

BANNER PRICING

A payment of $165.00 is requested for each banner application submission to cover the production, installation, storage and removal of the banner.

OTHER INFORMATION

Banners will be returned to each honoree or their family after the display period (2-3 years). Any damage to an installed banner will be handled at the discretion of the Veteran Banner Committee. We are not responsible for weather related damage, deliberate destruction, or theft of banners.
